• Pharaoh went from Egypt. And what happened? Someone else comes. Nothing changes. What matters is for him to be replaced by the way of the Mahdi. That is where happiness lies. They come and go. That is no good, that changes nothing. So Muslims must know what they want. They must say, it is good that Pharaoh has gone, but now the Prophet Moses (as) must come. They keep shouting that Pharaoh must go, but where is your Prophet Moses (as)? Why do you not mention him? Why do you not speak of Hazrat Mahdi (as). Why do you not speak of Jesus, the Messiah? The like of that has never been seen before. OK, Pharaoh is bad. He must go, okay. But there is not a word of mention of Hazrat Mahdi (as). Anyone who talks about Pharaoh must also talk about the Prophet Moses (as). Otherwise they are sick and abnormal.

• Allah, Who gives us so many blessings, does not want us to do things that are harmful to us when we serve Him. He says, “Do not drink wine” for instance. We are healthy when we do not drink wine. We are more rational when we avoid alcohol. Our livers are healthier. Our brains are healthier. We become healthy, attractive people. “Do not eat pork,” he says. We thus avoid cholesterol, and trichina. We are healthier and more attractive. We enjoy abiding by these religious observations, serving Allah. We do not commit adultery. So Allah gives us health and strength. Allah creates a profound respect for women inside us. If we were to commit adultery, may Allah forbid, then He would take the love of women from our hearts. Allah would inflict disgust on us instead, may He forbid. When one avoids adultery, Allah gives one the power to be in love with a woman. He gives passion. That is something unique to chaste believers. He bestows a profound love and passion for what is lawful. For example, we do not lie. Our consciences are at ease. Lies numb the brain, they ruin people. But telling the truth is a delightful thing. It is lovely to talk to someone who never lies. You establish a direct contact with his soul. But when you talk to someone who lies it is different. Like a cardboard cut-out. There is no person there at all. The man is a liar, and does not exist. Allah wants us to be loyal. Disloyalty is a very painful thing. It tears down the soul. But loyalty imparts health and joy and happiness. It eases the brain. Our muscles relax. A hurtful word against someone hurts us first. But a pleasant word bestows ease and happiness. You also feel 10 times happier. For example, one buys a present for a person one loves. If they buy me a present I may not feel all that happy, but I will when they buy something for someone I love. That will really delight me. Islam wants us to do things we like. To forgive, for instance. Love continues if you forgive nicely. Friendship continues. Not to forgive troubles the heart. It shakes the body. It hurts. But if you forgive, you immediately relax. Hatred is a wearisome thing. It hurts terribly. Spending one day hating someone ruins one’s health. It is so hard to live with hatred. But if you forgive, you can relax. Your head clears. That is why Allah says "We send down in the Qur'an that which is a healing". Allah says healing. The body collapses if the soul does.

• Our prophet (saas) had long hair. He parted it into four. The majority of the Companions were the same. Their hair sometimes reached their shoulders. He says one should untie one’s hair when praying, however, so it touches the ground. Long hair is part of the Sunnah. Using reddish black, vegetable dyes. And he oiled his hair with pleasant oils. Our Prophet (saas) was terribly handsome. He shone like light whenever he went out masha’Allah. Growing one’s hair long and grooming it are Sunnah. But those who tie their hair back must loosen it when they pray.
