The Evolution Deceit
Believers' constantly growing fervor of faith
One of the main distinguishing features of a Muslim who has adopted the aim of living for Allah’s approval is that he always has a joyous and fervent state of mind. Allah creates a great many blessings and reasons why a Muslim should be excited and joyful.
Constantly feeling the existence and infinite might of Allah bestows great joy on one. Someone who is aware of Allah’s infinite might, intelligence and power that enfold everywhere between the earth and sky always possesses, as a requirement of his faith, a sharp intelligence and extensive awareness. Allah’s infinite might keeps a person spiritually alive. Because Allah, our Almighty Lord, with His infinite might and ability to create in an infinite variety, constantly creates all things in the most perfect manner for us. Someone confronted by the marvels that Allah continually creates give thanks for his blessings with an acute awareness, exhibits the moral values most compatible with the Qur’an and constantly seeks to do good work that will be pleasing to Allah.
The absence of fear and sorrow for Muslims is a source of great happiness. In verse 69th of Surat Al-Ma’ida, Allah reveals that believers must feel no fear or sorrow: “Those who believe and those who are Jews and the Sabaeans and the Christians, all who have iman in Allah and the Last Day and act rightly will feel no fear and will know no sorrow.”
For a Muslim, everything that happens is for the best. The important thing is to be in a constant state of awe of and submission to Allah. Nothing that happens can do a believer any material or spiritual harm. Even if harm does appear, superficially, to have been done, the eventual outcome will always be in the believer’s favor. The Qur’an reveals that the deniers have always striven against Muslims, that traps have always been set for believers, that attempts have been made on their lives or property, that Muslims have been falsely imprisoned, and that they have been injured or even killed. But no matter how difficult the conditions they may be faced with, knowing that Allah has created everything that befalls them in destiny, for the best and right down to the finest detail, means that believers are always full of life, enthusiasm and determination. Submitting to his destiny placing his full trust in Allah is a great comfort for a believer. Facing events with that awareness is one of the great blessings bestowed on the believer.
As revealed in the verse, “The life of this world is nothing but a game and a diversion. The Hereafter is better for those who believe. So will you not use your intellect? ”(Surat al-An’am, 32) ” believers are aware that this world is a temporary abode they will not inhabit for long, and that it is in the hereafter that they will live their real lives. This certain truth revealed by Allah in the Qur’an is a cause of great joy for a Muslim. That fervor increases the Muslim’s desire for the hereafter and is instrumental in his genuinely striving ever more vigorously to attain paradise by earning Allah’s approval.
Constantly making preparations for the life of the hereafter is an important way of increasing a believer’s sincerity. Because someone who is constantly preparing himself for the eternal life will always be acutely aware, and his perspective on events will always be that revealed by our Almighty Lord in the Qur’an.
In the Qur’an, Allah tells believers of continual beauties in this world and the hereafter. By Allah’s will, the believer is an entity for whom all things work in his favor and for whom everything happens for the best. He is tested in the very brief and transitory life of this world, and is always drawing closer to the hereafter. His sincere respect and profound awe of Allah, his powerful love for Him, his longing for the hereafter, his fear of hell and desire to attain Allah’s approval and paradise means that a Muslim is always optimistic and enthusiastic.
