Robert Zoellick warns on the ‘great danger’ 

World Bank President Robert Zoellick stated that global economy is moving into a dangerous period. He participated at a conference held in Beijing on the future of China in the year 2030 and stressed that the financial crises in Europe resulted in a sovereign debt crisis impacting the monetary union, banks and competitiveness of some countries.

World Bank President Robert Zoellick indicated that risks to the global economy are intensifying.

 “We are moving into a dangerous period,” Zoellick said in an interview with Bloomberg Television in Singapore. While the U.S. is likely to avoid a return to recession, escaping with slow growth, the euro zone is facing a “particularly sensitive time,” he said.

Robert Zoellick, the World Bank president, warned, "the world is in a danger zone" as the economic crisis in the United States, Europe and Japan threatened to ravage the rest of the global economy.
