Mr. Adnan Oktar has said that we need to protect the families of our brothers who were martyred in the mine disaster in Soma and provide them with a good life.
The Chairman of the Foundation of National Education also supported this comment and noted that the education expenses of the children of miners who were martyred in Soma will be covered.

ADNAN OKTAR: The best thing we can do for our loved ones is to provide them with a good life, to provide their children a good life and not to cause them grief and pain. There is no reason to cause more pain under the name of grief. It is wrong to cause more pain. It is more important to protect our brothers, show them compassion and respect and make them feel they are appreciated, rather than imposing grief on them. Showing that we really care for them, protecting them like our own brothers and sisters; this is what real grieving is. With an attitude that doesn't make them feel pain and reminding them the of glory of the Garden with the language of the Qur’an, we need to pull them towards a happy spirit.
For example, the state can send a truck full of food supplies there. They are very poor, my dear brothers; the children don't even have any socks. Their socks have holes in them. They are all like that. Most of them are like that. The state should send help from this day on. Let’s send trucks full of food and fruits. Let’s make their homes comfortable. If they lack anything let’s provide it. We will pay for it. Let’s do this no matter what the cost is. If there are sick people, let’s get treatment for them. Let’s not cause more pain.

(IHH has launched an aid campaign for the orphans of our martyrs.)
ADNAN OKTAR: For the orphans: It is very important because orphans are a group of people especially mentioned in the Qur’an. Almighty Allah wants us to take special care of orphans. He gives a special responsibility to all Muslims about this. It is vital that they are protected. It is important not to make them feel the absence of their fathers and to help them live in much better conditions.
