ADNAN OKTAR: This quota limitation on internet, fair usage, etc.; the government needs to abolish this. If this system is transferred to the private sector, it must be nationalized immediately. It is like selling the air we breathe for money. Knowledge is the biggest need of humanity. Lack of culture is suffocating; lack of knowledge is suffocating. Let people read it freely. The internet is the modern source of knowledge. This door cannot be closed. We want this from our government, insha’Allah.

ADNAN OKTAR: Now this is very strange. A person can use the internet for 24 hours. He can use it and read day and night. Yes. He shall have access to information day and night. He shall research day and night. So twelve at night or five in the morning. Fair usage; this is not like drinking alcohol. They are accessing information. This is not fair for a person who wants information and knowledge. Can we say, “You have too much knowledge now. Let other people have some”? People shall acquire information as much as they can and as freely as they can. The more informed they are, the better. This is not an issue of being just; it would be unfair on the contrary. If you limit the knowledge intake of a person, you are taking a stand against justice in the name of being just. This is a big mistake and a great wrong. Fair usage . They should abolish that at first. They should impose a ten-lira quota fee. That is all. Our brothers are poor so with a low fee they can afford to use it. What kind of phrase is that? Fair usage ? They should use it as they wish. They should browse, read and examine till evening, insha’Allah. The internet is the biggest encyclopedia for the cultivation of our people and the world. Then the state would have closed the doors to this biggest encyclopedia of all. The state should open the doors of the world’s biggest encyclopedia so our people can easily pass through. Just like we did not pay anything for primary, secondary or high school education, we should also not pay for internet. Ignorance lies at the roots of anarchy and terror. To gain knowledge we need the internet. And we cannot reach the internet if the tariff is expensive.

ADNAN OKTAR: For Allah’s sake, our Prime Minister should abolish this internet quota business. Our President and Prime Minister should take care of this. Our Minister of Education should also deliberate on this. 10 Turkish Lira is enough for the tariff. How could a student find that money? They cannot afford books as books are very expensive. They cannot buy encyclopedias or magazines and books, as they are expensive. ta If you impose a tariff, it becomes very difficult as his only book is the internet. It is the doorway to an encyclopedia. It is the biggest encyclopedia in the world. It is the doorway to the biggest encyclopedia. You are closing that door. You are locking that door. How could he open it? Our Prime Minister should unlock that lock. Let’s unlock the door that goes to libraries and information. Let’s remove the quota. It should be enough to pay 10 Turkish Lira because the poor and the needy cannot afford it otherwise, insha’Allah.
