We wish to administer the whole region as leader of the Turkish-Islamic Union by bringing that experience to the fore once again. And that is what everyone wants. The Syrians want it, and the Iraqis, and Egypt and even Armenia. Azerbaijan and Turkestan want it. East Turkestan wants it. Everyone wants it. Everyone trusts in Turkish justice, Turkish rationality and Turkish altruism, and Turkish troops are popular everywhere in the world.
Turkey has the duty to dialogue with Hamas
According to information obtained from diplomatic sources, during Mubarak’s visit to Istanbul the need for the immediate establishment of a national unity government by securing compromise between Hamas and the PLO in Palestine was emphasized as being the most important issue. In that context, the Egyptian side forwarded its desire for contacts with Hamas to be carried out by Turkey.
