Highlights from Mr. Adnan Oktar's interview on 18 July 2011
A9 TV, Kahramanmaraş Aksu TV, 18 July 2011
It is a very fine thing for Muslims to love one another and be friends. They used to be against Muslims on the grounds they were Shiites or Jaferis. That has now come to an end, insha’Allah. They are radiant people. Immaculate Muslims. There is no need to divide Muslims like that. One must treat them with love in particular. This world is a temporary place. We are tested. At the end of the test we will go to the hereafter. Insha’Allah, we will all be judged in the Presence of Allah according to the good or mistaken nature of our deeds.
Getting people to watch A9 TV looks like a minor service but in fact is a very great one. For example, it will be a good thing to set it up in a gas station or a restaurant. That is very important. It will be very useful. And it will be instrumental in many people earning merit, since it will increase that merit. It will earn merit for the person concerned and also for the viewers.
If My servants ask you about Me, I am near. I answer the call of the caller when he calls on Me. They should therefore respond to Me and believe in Me so that hopefully they will be rightly guided. (Surat al-Baqara, 186)
There has to be a very rational connection in prayer to Allah. Prayer is an important observance that establishes a connection to Allah. Prayer must not be thought of as something just to be learned by rote; it has to be reflected on and performed sincerely. In complete submission, even in awe, as the verses describe it, with fear and love of Allah, and with a vibrant joy. It is an excellent thing if we do it with fear of Allah ruling our souls, optimistically, with good expectations and with awe. It is an incredibly important act of worship.
You who believe! Do not take the unbelievers as friends rather than the believers. Do you want to give Allah clear proof against you? (Surat an-Nisa’, 144)
Muslims cannot take people who attack religion and Islam as their friends. Of course they have a duty to warn them. But they will dislike them for what they did and have no respect for them in their hearts, insha’Allah.
