If you were created directly in paradise you could not appreciate the value of paradise. Your armchair would have no meaning for you. Your car would have no meaning for you, nor your fork and spoon. You could not take pleasure from anything. The great majority of people could not appreciate it. You could not love a brave person for his courage, or a loyal one for his loyalty. You could not love someone heroic because of their heroism. So you could never then find a generous man. You could never find a martyr, filled with love of the Prophet and Allah, who died on Allah’s path. You would just see regular people. So the power of paradise would be seriously reduced. Indeed, Almighty Allah tells the story of the Prophet Adem (as) in order to demonstrate that. Allah sent them down to Earth, to the dimension of this world. Then after being educated in this world they returned to paradise. Ask the Prophet Adam (as) if he is happier now or before. He will be a hundred times happier after learning things in this world. After being educated he will delight in everything. He will take pleasure from his armchair and his bed and conversation. Because he will have seen pain and suffering and difficulty. Everything will then delight him. And that is how it is in this world. A person does not know love without experiencing difficulty. People who know pain, suffering and difficulty are more intelligent and better quality. Go and look at people who have never suffered; they are totally different. Education in this world is vitally important. Someone who knows weariness also knows how to relax in his chair. A person can never forget, not for all eternity. Allah loves rich beauty. He wants rich beauty, and that is why He applies this method. That is the way to happiness and to richness of beauty. Allah tests us to perfection.

Djinns can pass through walls and appear where they want instantaneously. For example, if they are in America, they can be in Turkey the very next second. They move at the speed of light, and even possess an attribute faster than light. They can easily move in and out of matter. But some of them believe that when they die they cease to exist. They do not believe they will be resurrected after death. They have that sickness. They also live for a very long time; 1000, 1200 or 1300 years. But since they move at the speed of light such a life span may seem very normal to them. Because our perception of time is not the same as theirs. For us, their life spans are very long, but prefectly normal for them. Allah constantly shows them their existence in destiny. They constantly watch a film. From start to finish. Why should Allah, who maintains so many images, not continue with the ones that come after? There is an image that continues non-stop. Death for djinns meaning passing out of that dimension. They pass out of that dimension, but the image persists. But since they think in the same way some materialists do they insist on going and seeing the hereafter, being held by the hand. But an unbeliever who goes to the hereafter is still an unbeliever there. If he does not want to believe, then nothing changes. Such people are still irreligious. They go the hereafter and come to life there but they are still materialists and opposed to Allah. There is no end to being irreligious. Allah says they hide their pollution. They look out of the corner of their eyes are very stubborn. They even strive against one another there. And they do not pray to Allah direct. They say, “Tell your Lord to give us food to eat.” They are reluctant to establish direct relations with Allah. They say “Your Lord” because they do not believe in Him themselves. That is why this behavior on the part of djinns is very surprising. Allah has created such a sickness so that human beings can reflect more deeply. This is something in their destinies.
The seven heavens and the earth and everyone in them glorify Him. There is nothing which does not glorify Him with praise but you do not understand their glorification. He is All-Forbearing, Ever-Forgiving. (Surat al-Isra’, 44)
They say the atom is very small, quite tiny. Yet the atom is a whole world, a world like space. Since the orbits around that nucleus are very regular and delightful they have a sound, but we cannot hear it. Each movement produces a sound, but we cannot hear it. What does Almighty Allah say in the verse? “There is nothing which does not glorify Him with praise but you do not understand their glorification.” Allah says you cannot hear it. We can hear specific frequencies and detect specific wavelengths. The rest we cannot hear. Insects hear some sounds, for instance, but we cannot hear what they hear.
When you recite the Qur’an, We place an obscuring veil between you and those who do not believe in the hereafter.(Surat al-Isra’ 45)
‘An obscuring veil,” They are dead, in another dimension. But since they are dead, they cannot understand. Our Prophet (saas) went and preached to the most fanatical pagans of Mecca. There were masons at that time, too, and our Prophet (saas) preached to them, There were Jews and Christians, and he preached to the Jews and Christians. He made no distinctions. He did not say, “That person is a mason, so I will not talk to him, and he is a pagan, so I shall not speak to him.” He went to the land of Uqaz. Everyone was there. There were irreligious types and devil-worshipers. And Zoroastrians. Our Prophet (saas) preached to them all. He never said, “He is a Zoroastrian, so I will not preach to him.” So if we exclude or refuse to speak to a freemason, or do not talk to someone because he is irreligious or an atheist, then we are failing to preach Islam. Islam is something that has to be preached to all. And it is a blessing. Anything else is a sin. Allah will ask us in the hereafter why we failed to preach it.
Some people want to engage in cheap heroism. They stand up and say: “One must not preach to masons or atheists. One must not preach to anyone who worships shaytan, or to Zoroastrians. One must not preach to Jews or Christians. One must not preach to the Knights Templar.” So who can one preach to? Only to innocent Muslims as they come to the mosque. You go and shout and talk nonsense. That is not the way. What our Prophet (saas) and the other prophets did was this. There were masons in the time of the Prophet Sulayman (as). But he preached Islam to them all. He preached the true Word. That is what a Muslim must do. There are people who worship shaytan, the stars or idols, people who hold completely atheist or even worse views, at all times, but they are all servants of Allah. We have an obligation to tell them all about the faith. We cannot discriminate. But some bigoted groups say, “Don’t go near them and do not talk to them, one must not preach to them.” So who can one preach to? And what do you base that idea on? If you say you get it from the Qur’an, the Qur’an says that preaching is obligatory. And one must preach to all. One must strive to make them Muslims, to love the Qur’an, and so the moral values of the Qur’an will rule the world. If nobody ever preaches to Christians and Jews, to communists and satanists, then Islam cannot possibly rule the world. They are saying it is impossible for Islam to rule the world. But a group of people who want Islam to dominate the world will preach it to everyone, without discriminating. They will try to save everyone as servants of Allah. That is what I am doing in the shadow of the way of the Mahdi. We therefore want everyone to be well and happy. I do not stand up and say: “I want to get on with everyone and make everyone like me, so I am not going to go and preach to masons. I will not preach to Jews, or to atheists. And in that way, everyone else will be very pleased with me.” There are other people who do that. But I am not like that. I act according to the Qur’an. And I feel affection for everyone. I strive for the happiness of them all.2011-01-30 13:00:15
