Historically, 2012 for the Jews and the date we give, 2012, are the same. In their eyes, everything will come to an end in 70 years’ time, and in our eyes, too. They think we are at the end of the world, and so do we. The portents of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) are the same. Judaic rabbinical scholars speak of the Qur’an. When asked, the honest -ones among them say they know. There is nothing secret about it. Israel could not have been founded without Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh), and the Day of Reckoning would in any case take place. The only reason why Allah allowed Israel to be founded is Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh), Hazrat Messiah (pbuh). Otherwise, He would not have established it. Why should it be founded now after not being established for hundreds of years? How could it have been founded with so few people? Impossible. How could it have been founded in the face of such opposition? It was established as a miracle because Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) has come. The Torah says, “Expect him even though you lose hope, because he will come.” It says that people will lose hope and say he will not come, but that he definitely will appear.

(In response to an e-mail from a viewer saying, “The Jews said that Uzayr is the son of Allah”)

There is a Jewish tribe that says that. But they have almost entirely disappeared. There are very few of them left. The Jews do not say, “Uzayr is the son of Allah.” That was the tribe of Yahut (Beni Yahut). The Jews are careful to avoid ascribing equals to Allah. But the tribe known as the Beni Yahut was a very powerful one in the past. A rather pagan tribe, but they held such a belief.

(In response to an e-mail from a viewer saying, “You said that a Muslim does not make the same mistake twice. Could you expand on that a bit?”)

Because people are shocked when an error is made, may Allah forbid. They are stunned when something unlawful is done. One would have to be crazy to do the same thing again. Sin is a terrible thing. Think of someone who misses the morning prayer. He will feel the effect of that for the rest of the day. It is a major event that truly stuns a person. So a Muslim will not make the same mistake again. That is what the verse means, insha’Allah.

(In response to an e-mail saying, “I feel very good whenever I go to a psychologist. Is this of any use?”)

That is suggestion. What has that got to do with anything? The psychologist sits off to one side with pen and paper. “Lie down on the couch,” he says. “Now, tell me all about it.” And the client says, “It feels really good to talk about it.” It is like drinking soda. How can that relax you? True relaxation comes from faith. “Hearts can only be eased by calling on Allah,” Almighty Allah says. Otherwise, long sessions of talk and empty demagoguery are no good at all.

(In response to a report that “Lost fossils belonging to Darwin have been found after 165 years”)

This is one of the signs of the way of the Mahdi. Look, another great ruse has burst. “Fossils dating back 165 years and belonging to Charles Darwin have been found in a wooden cupboard; 314 fossil fragments have been found. But these 314 fragments all prove Creation.” Darwin had already examined these fossils. “They all prove Creation,” he said. “If we cannot find a fossil that proves evolution, my theory is finished” he said. They have dug everywhere up, inch by inch, but not a single transitional fossil has been found. Darwin’s words have come true. There really is no theory of evolution.
